Creating a Change Graphic Packet (CGP) is a more complicated thing. We're working on an easier way !
If you want to create a Change Grapic Packet (CGP) you must have four
graphics:
Three graphics for requesting DVD 1, 2, 3 and one graphic that indicates
the end of the film.
These graphics should be for PAL (TV norm for europe and other) in format
720 * 576 pixels and for
NTSC (TV norm for north amercia and other)
in format 720 * 480 pixels.
Graphics must be saved in JPEG format!
1. Graphics to M2V
You can do this step using TMPGEng Plus by Pegasys Inc.

Load the Graphics via "Video-Source -> Browse".
For PAL use the following settings

For NTSC use these settings

For PAL and NTSC use these additional settings
(simply push the "I picture only" button)

Select "Start" and transform all four graphics.
A small trick in advance; if you choose a picture in TMPGEnc that
ends with a number,
and there are other pictures that ends with numbers, TMPGEnc will
add all pictures.
You'll see always the last picture in the CGP.
Example:
- Pict1.jpg
- Pict2.jpg
- Pict3.jpg .... you'll always have picture 3 in you CGP !!!
- Picta.jpg
- Pictb.jpg
- Pictb.jpg .... that will work !!
2. M2V to VOB
Use the authoring function of IFOEdit 0.95.
Unfortunately IFOEdit needs a VIDEO file (.m2v) and a AUDIO file (.mpa).
But the change graphic doesn't neet audio, so we can use an empty
.mpa file.
(Simply use Notepad to create an empty file and save "Audio.mpa")
Click on "Author new DVD" in the menu "DVD Author" and
select the .m2v file from TMPGEnc Plus and the .mpa file.

Repeat this for every one of the four graphics.
Please rename and copy away the newly created VTS_01_1.VOB after every
action.
3. Create CGP
Select "Create CGP" in "Other Tools".

Enter the name of the packet and the author.
You have to select if the packet is for PAL, NTSC or both.
After that you can enter the VOB files by clicking the 'Choose' buttons.
If you have entered all you can click "OK".
Now your CGP is ready ! |
